After a lot of pressures, WhatsApp has made a big announcement to deal with fake news. The company has appointed Complaint Settlement Officer Komal Lahiri to stop spreading news from its platform in India. Users can now keep their complaints directly in front of the company. These complaints will be monitored from the headquarter of the company. So you know what other changes have been made by WhatsApp.

Now you can register a complaint related to any issue on WhatsApp. For this you have to go to app settings. After this, go to the help option and then tap on Contact Us. Here you can enter your complaint in the text with Screenshot.

Now users can join WhatsApp directly via post. Users can also share their complaint in WhatsApp's headquarters.
If you are getting threat from a particular account or you are being harassed on WhatsApp, then you can complain to the company directly. For this, you will have to give your number in the message (country code like +91 for India). WhatsApp has said that Komal Lahiri will stay in the company's head office in California and keep an eye on the messages released through the app in India. .

Komal Lahiri has been a senior director of Facebook and Instagram's community operations. Here Lahiri worked for 4 years. Apart from this, if the linkyIn profile of Kushal Lahiri is seen, he has worked in organizations like PayPal.
Earlier, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had asked Facebook to stop spreading news from spreading its platform on Facebook. For this, the government had asked Facebook to keep a complaint settlement officer.

Government of India sent two notices to pressurize the social media company. The first notice was sent in the month of June, the second notice was sent in the month of July.
