A new video has popped up online that shows the iPhone X and iPhone 8 successors of 2017, namely the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus, and iPhone 2018 new iphone.
In a month’s time, Apple will be unleashing the latest iPhone 2018 models. According to various reports and leaks, there will be three iPhones released this year(2018), despite reports suggesting that one of them is not ready for mass production means not for all customers only for limited customers. Now, a new video has surfaced online, that shows dummy units of the upcoming devices in a leak.
Apple will release the successor to the iPhone X, a Plus version of iPhone X with a bigger display name XS, and another base variant that will replace the iPhone 8 namely XS+. So far, we have gone through a lot of name changes for upcoming iPhones. We still not sure what the new phones would be called, since Apple skipped the 9 last year because of some personal issue.

It is possible that Apple could replace the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus with a single entry level device that is much better than both, perhaps the iPhone 9. However, the latest leak suggests that this device would simply be called the iPhone. We would refer to it as the iPhone 2018. And then, the iPhone X successor would be called iPhone XS, since Apple does use the S moniker almost every other year. And we do know that the iPhone X successor won't be that big of an update that leaks.
The third iPhone, with the 6.5-inch display, could be called the iPhone XS Plus. Now, once again, we are not sure that this is what Apple would name the new iPhones, so take it with a pinch of salt ,eams only a leak.
The standard/base variant, the one that will simply be called the iPhone, is the model that supposed feature the 6.1-inch LCD display. The other two models will come with an OLED panel. All three phones are supposed to feature the ‘notch’ on screen, but the iPhone may not have all the features available on the other two devices.
The iPhone will be the entry level device, expected to be priced between $500 and $700 or $900 and it is most likely to come with a single rear camera but quality is much better, as seen in the video. Other reports and leaks have also suggested that this model would have lesser RAM, a single rear camera, and may also lack 3D Touch panel display means a bad quality. It will also use aluminium and glass instead of steel and glass, like on the other models of iphone.
Now, the iPhone XS will come with upgraded hardware and camera, but it will carry the same design as the iPhone X, and feature the same 5.8-inch OLED display. The iPhone XS Plus, on the other hand, will have the largest ever display on an iPhone that launch. It is said to come with a 6.5-inch OLED panel display, and have similar design and hardware as the iPhone XS and XS plus.
The cameras on the new iPhone X successor is also said to be dual-camera only, no triple-camera setup for 2018 its not good for apple. Probably because the iPhone X an iPhone XS Plus are anyway going to cost a lot of money, probably around $1000 plus, and adding a triple camera setup will only increase the price. There are rumors that the iPhone X successor might not cost as high as $1000 but it is only expectations, but then it’s Apple we are talking about.
Anyway, there is only a month remaining for the Apple iPhone launch event, which will most likely happen in the first or second week of September. Since most of the leaks, and reports have been pretty consistent, it is likely that we already know what the new iPhones will be like. Nevertheless, it is best to wait, for Tim Cook to take the stage and announce them himself for updates.
