Lenovo Z5 goes out of stock | In just 50 second with a disappointing design | Second time in a week
Lenovo Z5, the smartphone that was widely expected to feature a true bezel-less smartphone design but ended up being a disappointment, is still selling like a Killer Phone. The smartphone was widely roasted by Chinese smartphone users soon after its launch for featuring both notch as well as small bottom black chin bar.
Most smartphone users were disappointed and even said that Lenovo lies with its small teasers for the Z5. However, Lenovo’s aggressive teasers and a disappointed product has not affected the sales whatever. The smartphone has hit the “sold-out in just 75 second” second time in less than a month. The initial batch of the Lenovo Z5 sold out in approximately a minute and the smartphone went out of stock in 50 seconds when it went sale on last week.
This shows that Chinese smartphone users are expecting a full notch smartphonr that Lenovo failed to deliver on its audiance. Ahead of the launch, Lenovo was teased the Z5 with gorgeous claims of a killer flagship smartphone with true bezel-less design. However, the final product turned out to be a mid-range device with bottom black chin bar and a notch to house the front camera.
The only thing that in the favor of Lenovo Z5 is its starting price of CYN 1,299 (around Rs 13,499) for the base model with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. The upper variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at CYN 1,799 (around Rs 18,499). Android Headlines notes that Indigo Blue variant that is currently the most popular model and only the black color variant is still available in stock. The smartphone also comes with Aurora finish similar to that of Huawei P20 Pro twilight color.
To recall, the Lenovo Z5 features an platinum frame with glass back giving it a premium good look and feel. It sports a 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels full HD AMD 18.7:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage.
It features vertically stacked dual rear camera setup of a 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel image sensors and phase detection autofocus mode. There is also an 8-megapixel front camera. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and the smartphone battery backup is 3,300 MAh.
